Welcome To Uttar Pradesh State Open School Board

The Uttar Pradesh State Open School Board (UPSOSB) is an autonomous board running under the auspices of Open Schooling of Uttar Pradesh Government's Education Department, following the rules and regulations of The Uttar Pradesh State Open School Board Act, 2008 (U.P. Act No. 27 of 2008).

UPSOSB provides educational opportunities to persons who wish to continue their studies and qualify for a better tomorrow. The mission of UPSOSB is to provide education to all, with special concern for school girls and women, rural youth, and working men and women who could not continue their education through the formal system.

UPSOSB has been established to work as a bridge between the Government and rural/backward classes of India and to promote and disseminate education at state and national level.
